I don’t want anyone to get into a situation when something happens to the car on the road. Even if you have insurance, even if they promised you round-the-clock assistance, this is such a stress !! After what I’ve experienced, I’m not at all sure that I want to rent a car again. Only a specialist of the company who said what should be done in my situation saved from a complete catastrophe

It’s better not to mess with the cancellation of the reservation, otherwise you’ll still lose money decently. I even canceled it in advance, but it would be better if I convinced myself of my plans twice, and then I rented a car. Although as far as I know, there are companies that do not return money at all, so I was not in the most deplorable situation yet.
